Article Processing Charges (APCs)

Once the article is accepted for publication, authors will have the option to choose how their article is published:

1.  Traditional publishing model:  Published articles are made available to institutions and individuals who subscribe to ACE or who pay to read specific articles. Authors need pay no article processing charges.
2.  Open Access:  When an article is accepted for publication, the author/s or funder/s pay an Article Processing Charge (APC). The final version of the published article is then free to read for everyone.

Authors who choose to publish open access in Progress in ACE are required to pay an article-processing charge as follows, subject to VAT or local taxes where applicable:

Withdrawal of Manuscript

If you withdraw your manuscript after it has been accepted and prepare to publish, you will be charged for costs incurred at USD 150.
